The Biggest Radish in the World

　　“It’s time to pull up the radishes. They’ll be nice and fat now! I’ll start with this one.”
　　The old man grabbed the radish leaves and tugged at the radish.
　　“Oomph!”

　　But the radish would not budge. The old man called his wife.
　　The old woman grabbed the old man, and the old man pulled at the radish.
　　“Oomph!”

　　But the radish still would not budge.
　　The old woman called their granddaughter.
　　The granddaughter took hold of the old woman, the old woman grabbed the old man, and the old man pulled at the radish.
　　"Oo-oomph!”

　　But the radish still would not budge!
　　The granddaughter called their dog, who came barking and wagging its tail.
　　The dog held the granddaughter’s skirt in its mouth, the granddaughter took hold of the old woman, the old woman grabbed the old man, and the old
　　man pulled at the radish.
　　“Ooo-oomph!”

　　But the radish STILL would not budge!
　　The dog called the cat, who came meowing.
　　The cat gripped the dog’s hind leg, the dog held the granddaughter’s skirt in its mouth, the granddarghter took hold of the old womanm, the old woman grabbed the old man, and the old man pulled at the radish.
　　“Oo-oo-oomph!”

　　But the radish still refused to budge an inch!
　　The cat called the hen who came cluck-clucking.
　　The hen held onto the cat’s tail, the cat gripped the dog’s hind leg, the dog held the granddaughter’s skirt in its mouth, the granddaughter took hold of the old woman, the old woman grabbed the old man, and the old man pulled at the radish.
　　“Oo-ooo-ooomph!”

　　But the radish STILL refused to budge an inch!
　　The hen called the mouse, who came squeak-squeaking.
　　The mouse clutched the hen’s feathers, the hen held onto the cat’s tail, the cat gripped the dog’s hind leg, the dog held the granddaughter’s skirt in its mouth, the granddaughter took hold of the old woman, the old woman grabbed the old man, and the old man pulled at the radish.
　　“Ooo-ooo-ooomph!”

　　“Let’s try one more time. Everybody ready?”
　　“One, two, three, OOOOMPH!”
　　Everyone pulled as hard as they could, and tha-thump!!

　　The huge radish came out from the earth, and everyone fell backwards.
　　The hen fell on the mouse, the cat fell on the hen, the dog fell on the cat, the granddaughter fell on the dog, the old woman fell on the granddaughter, the old man fell on the old woman, and the huge radish fell on the old man.
　　It must have been the biggest radish in the world !
